Getting ready for Christmas!

Eason is now 18 months and has had a wonderful holiday season getting ready for Christmas! She is really funny! She calls herself "she she", because she can't really say Eason. She told the pediatrician that Santa was giving her a baby for Christmas. I got lots of funny looks, so now she can say baby doll! She is not crazy about the actual Santa himself but loves her Fisher Price Nativity Scene. She loves for the angel to sing and the star to light up.

Eason turns 1!

Eason turned ONE on June 8th!! We had a close family and friends birthday party at the Old Lauderdale Store on the following Saturday. Jim drove the hayride around the farm for the kids to see the animals, and we cooked out that afternoon. It was a fun day!! Eason loved her cheetos more than her cake, but her cake sure was pretty!!! Jim and I look back on the year and are amazed that she has come this far, but we are mostly thankful for God's great blessing!!!

9 month pictures

We did 9 month pictures with Valerie Walden, and she did a great job! Eason was full of her self and had a great time! These are out at the old family store that my dad and uncle have fixed up.

Easter Day

Eason and the Goss family had a wonderful Easter Day! After the Easter Bunny came to see us, we began with church at Hernando Methodist. Jim and Eason put flowers in the church for me! It was so sweet. Then we headed to Clarksdale for lunch and some egg hunting. Eason loves her new walking toy. She feels like a big girl and can really go fast. See the pics of her and all of us! We are so blessed! But most importantly, we are thankful for our Risen Lord that saved us today!

Easter Egg Hunt

Thanks to the Couch, Rivers, File, and Fort families! We went to our first Easter Egg Hunt and party. Eason saw the Easter bunny and like it. She loved shaking the eggs and seeing the other kids. That was about all she could do. It was really fun and a nice day for it.

Uncle Mons came home

We were so glad to see Uncle Mons this weekend!! We missed Lindsay.

Easter dress and basket

We have been waiting on our dress and Easter basket, but they both arrived this week. I love both of them!! Wanted to share our long awaited treasures that were handmade.

New Tooth

Spring Break Beach Trip

We had a great time on Spring Break. Eason, Kathy, Kathryn, Jack, Max, and I all went to Palm Beach, Florida for a visit. We had a ball. Eason loved the sand, but the ocean was still to cold for her. See a few pictures of how much she had!

Hot Springs Trip

Jim and I went to Hot Springs with Mom and Dad and Simmons and Lindsay. We had the best time!! We went to the horse races, spa, and out to eat. It was great to all be together!!! Eason stayed in Clarksdale, and I am sure had a ball too.

Lauderdale Barn in Hernando on Snow Day

The old family barn behind my house. Just wanted to share this. I used to play in this barn growing up. It is now very old and is not a working barn, like it once was. It is still very special and something I love to look at out my back door everyday.

Snow Day #2

We actually got snow this time!! Eason did not play in it too much. Call me a crazy mom, but I was worried about her running nose and cough. We sure did have a good time off. Sam Dorris came over, and we danced! Imangine that-my daughter was the DJ and Sam was the dancer. We did take her picture in the snow!

Sunday School Sip N See

Thank you to our wonderful Sunday School class at Hernando United Methodist Church! They had a Sip N See for Eason and another child that arrived within the last year for our "sunday school family". It was a very special day to be with our sweet new friend Colette and to be with those that prayed so hard for baby Eason! We are so blessed!

Snow Day

We were out of school today! Jim, Eason, and I were all home because of the weather. It was really nice. We did not really go outside, but she sure looked it it. We didn't get much, see the pictures. However, we are so glad that it is not the ice storm of '94. Mattie and Reid came over for a little bit, and they all hid in the closet together.

Eason is curious and on the move!

This is our first blog! Jim and I have had an exciting seven and a half months. Eason Davant Goss was born June 8, 2009. She has gone from 6 pds 5 oz to a busy little girl crawling and pulling up. These are a few of the pictures seeing her grow up.
